Low return calls. Difficult to reach or get scheduling even upon Dental Pain and Dental Discomfort for a child..

Ever since Family First Health administer this office is been a PAIN IN THE ____ trying to get/make an appointment. I called yesterday and there were like 8 callers ahead of me. I called at 7:00 AM 7:15 AM 7:30 AM 7:50 AM the next day (Google hours say they open at 7:00 AM) but no one picks up, the call just keep getting disconnected. I tried again at 8:30 AM and there were 3 callers ahead of me and I was on hold for like 20 minutes. When I finally get to talk with someone I asked for an appointment for my child and they told me I have to call them on November 8 (today is November 4) to get an appointment for December. After I insisted that is been 6 months since my child last dental appointment they double checked (counted the months) and I finally was able to get an appointment for two weeks from today. Before when it was administer by Wellspan this office used to automatically schedule the appointments easy peasy.

Ever since family first health took over wellspan it's literally like pulling teeth(pun intended) to get ahold of someone. You can't sign in at the kiosk anymore and it takes about 5 or 10 mins to be checked in at the front now because they take walk ins.. there's no portal to use now to message my dentist, everything for us original patients is difficult now. I really wish you guys wouldn't have been bought out because it absolutely sucks. The only reason I'm staying is for my dentist since I've had her for around 5 years, if she leaves I absolutely will too. If you need to talk to someone you're better off going in instead of trying to call. Us wellspan patients are paying the price for the swap. Not to mention the quality of your equipment went down as well as the toothbrushes they give you. The xray equipment doesn't work right either, they didn't cover me with anything before taking the xray either which didnt happen 3 months ago, so i hope it wasnt an error on the assistants hands that no one gave me the cover. I loved this place before the switch, now I can't recommend it to anyone else.

Reading some of the reviews I was nervous. I had a great experience though. My tooth was cracked and hard to pull but the staff made sure I was comfortable and didn’t get agitated with me at all. They explained everything they were doing to calm my nerves and were very patient and professional. The dentists were amazing (two helped me since my tooth was difficult to remove) and made sure the area was completely numb. Since it was taking longer than expected they even stopped to numb the area again to make sure I’d experience no pain. Would go back to this establishment, although I hope I don’t have to again!
